Marvy A. Finger President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board

Mr. Finger has been supervising the planning, financing and construction of multi-family real estate properties in metropolitan areas across the United States for over five decades. He has been involved in the development or rehabilitation of over 25,000 units and chairs the company’s Development Committee, which meets weekly. Mr. Finger, a native Houstonian, graduated from the University of Texas in 1957 with an Engineering Route to Business Administration degree. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Methodist Hospital Foundation and the Downtown Houston Retail Task Force. He has served as a guest lecturer for Rice University’s Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business numerous times and often addresses business and real estate industry groups.

Gordon Pilmer Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Director

Mr. Pilmer rejoined the Finger Companies in 1991 after being with the company from 1980 to 1984. Previously, he practiced public accounting for more than seven years at Touche Ross & Co. where he was a Tax Manager with primary involvement in the real estate industry. From 1984 to 1990, Mr. Pilmer was CFO of two other multi-family developers. Mr. Pilmer is a member of the company’s Development Committee and a partner in its new developments. He graduated cum laude from Texas A & M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and has been involved in the development of over 15,000 multi-family units across the U.S. during his career. A Certified Public Accountant since 1975, Mr. Pilmer is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Jill JewettVice President and Director

Ms. Jewett is an investor in each of the Finger Companies’ new developments and a member of its Development Committee. She is also President of Jewett Consulting, focusing on community-building projects and non-profit organizations. Prior to commencing her consulting business, Ms. Jewett was the Mayor’s Assistant for Cultural Affairs in Mayor Bill White’s administration. Her primary responsibility was to manage the city’s role in historic preservation, the arts, and cultural initiatives. In this capacity she helped direct the expansion of the City’s Historic Preservation Ordinance, oversaw the development of the African American Library at the Gregory School, the establishment of Old Sixth Ward as a Protected Historic District, as well as the renovation of the historic Julia Ideson Library building, which houses Houston’s archives. Ms. Jewett holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Art History and American Studies from the University of Virginia and a Masters in Business Administration with concentration in marketing from Rice University and is currently on the board of the Greater Houston Community Foundation, the Houston Parks Board, the East Downtown Redevelopment Authority, and the Glassell School of Art.

Edward A. FingerVice President and Director

Mr. Finger is an investor in each of the Finger Companies’ new developments. He has been involved in apartment development since he was a young man accompanying his father Marvy on visits to the apartment properties being developed, constructed and managed by the Finger Companies and continues to do so whenever possible. He is also a teacher at the Briarwood School in Houston and currently teaches classes in Earth Science and World Geography and serves as head of the Science Department. Briarwood is an independent, non-profit school that offers children with learning differences and developmental delays a broad range of programs. Prior to beginning his teaching career, he worked for the property management division of the Finger Companies in various roles, including as a property management supervisor responsible for performing property inspections and evaluating employee performance. Mr. Finger commenced his teaching career at Briarwood after receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Arizona in 2000 and returned to Briarwood after receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science and Climatology from the University of Colorado in 2008.

Ralph Green Executive Vice President - Construction

Mr. Green joined the Finger Companies in 1998 after serving as Vice President of Construction for a national multi-family real estate investment trust for the preceding ten years. He is a member of the company’s Development Committee and has over 30 years experience in the construction industry, beginning as a youth in his father’s single family construction business. Mr. Green is a 1971 graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in Business Administration and has served on the City of Houston Fire Code Review Board as a representative of the Houston Apartment Association.

John Faulk Executive Vice President - Development

Mr. Faulk joined the Finger Companies in 2011 and is a member of the company’s Development Committee. With over 15 years of multi-family development experience, Mr. Faulk has been responsible for the development of over 3,000 units in Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Diego and Orange County. He has developed apartments for Camden Property Trust, Lincoln Property Company and ZOM. He has developed all product types from 3 story walk-up apartments to 29 story towers and is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and focus on real estate development.
